Cute stuff!!

So, I've finished a couple more projects...just wish i could keep them for myself!  I think these are 2 of my favorites!!

I made this little chalk board table for Isabella's birthday.  From old end table to 'cute as can be fun' for a little girl.  I hope she enjoys using it as much as I enjoyed making it!  (Unless Dominic takes it over!)
I have several more small tables like this if you are interested.  Price:  $50

This awesome piece was an office chair with maroon burlap covering - UGH!!  Some paint and new colors  - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.  I have many more chairs and would be happy to make one with colors just for you!  Price: $35-50 (depending on fabric choice)

More tomorrow...Thanks for visiting FJF!

Customized items anyone?

Close to finishing another project...maybe tomorrow.

We have had several requests for specific items/colors/themes.  I thought I would upload some pictures of some pieces we haven't started on yet - if you see one that catches your eye and you have a great idea, we would be happy to custom make it just for your needs.

We have many more, just haven't had the time to take the pictures yet.  I will get those up tomorrow.

I now have a PIN IT button on my blog site.  Please use as much as possible!!

THANKS - FJF

What a Day!!

We finally finished our latest project.

This precious periwinkle and yellow piece leans more toward shabby chic and is designed as a child's wardrobe/closet.  It has 2 drawers at the bottom, double shelves and a rod for hanging clothes.  We worked long and hard on this one but it paid off in the end!  Anyone need extra storage for your little one??  Let me know.   Price: $150

Mom also decided to put her buffet up for sale.

This is a really fun piece...it is cream with dark wood inside.  Before it was mom's server, it was used in my bathroom as a vanity.  Love it!  It will come with baskets as shown.  Price: $75

As I am blogging, my brain is spinning with soooo many ideas.  My other projects currently include a pink & lime chalkboard table for a friend's daughter, a Batman table/desk for Elliot McCoy, bookcases for Hannah and Hailey, looking for a dresser for Cindy, and a dining room set for???   I am also thinking of a cowboy themed piece with boots on the feet...hmmm.

Hopefully in the next day or so I will be able to download pics of all of the pieces I have...If you see a piece you are interested in, I will customize it just the way you want.

For my friends - have anything you are thinking of throwing away?  Let me know.  I'll bet I can salvage it!

That's it for today - thanks for visiting FJF!  XOXO

SOOOO EXCITED!!!

Wanna give a shout out to Ronna Wyse for being our first customer!!  Desk goes to my sweet Hannah and Hailey...Hope they enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it!  Much Love, Aubrey

Getting Started!

Well, it's been a very busy couple of days - but I think I'm getting the hang of this blogging thing.  Mom, Chad and I have been working tirelessly in the garage trying to get our first major project completed, staged and posted.  Today, I am going to post pictures of several smaller projects that i have been working on for school, as well as our fun and funky desk we just finished.  All items with a before/after pics are for sale.  You can let us know immediately if something catches your eye and you just have to have it now!!  We are going to post to Graig's List and Pinterest also.  We are planning on have a furniture sale from our house in a couple of weeks (or as soon as we get multiple projects completed.)

Now, let's get to the pictures...

I made this little chair for my classroom.  I bought this UGLY little chair at a garage sale for $3.  I dug in to my scrap fabric and started stapling.  My kiddos will love this little rocker in the reading center.

Here is another little glider my neighbor gave me because she did not want to move it to Amarillo.   A coat of paint and some new covers for the cushions - LOVE!!

This small chest is in my craft room to hold some of my goodies!

This server is in my mom's dining room.  We picked it up off the curb.  The bottom drawer was missing.  Baskets from HomeGoods filled the space perfectly.

This chair came from another garage sale...hideous blue!!  New upholstery gave it new life, and a new home in the living room!

OK - let's see the latest project.

BEFORE: ICK!!

AFTER:  AWESOME!
A little sanding, priming, painting and fabric have turned this into the cutest little desk in Texas!  This desk will be posted on Craig's List for purchase if anyone is interested.  Would be GREAT for a girl's bedroom, classroom, or just a bit of fun in your home work space.

That's all for today.  Thanks for visiting FJF!
